Overhead Door Technician - Residential Service

The Overhead Door Technician - Residential Service role, is unique role within the OHD team. Each day on the job will be different. From sites to products, to customers, to technical challenges - the Residential Technician is a master of problem-solving and customer service. Focusing on safety first, OHD ensures each technician has the training and equipment to do their job at the
standard to uphold our legacy. This role works closely with the other technicians and reports directly to the Service
Manager, Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4pm. Rotational overtime is also available. A company vehicle, as well as first aid, forklift, fit testing, fall protection, scissor/boom lift certifications, will be provided.

QUALIFICATIONS

This role requires a high level of focus on safety and solutions, adaptability, and a positive “can-do” attitude, as well as:

• Overhead door service or installation experience

• Customer service focus

• Team player with effective communication skills

• Mechanical & electrical aptitude and willingness to learn

• Self-directed time-management skills

• Ability to multi-task in an often high-pressure environment

• Valid BC Drivers license and clean abstract

NICE TO HAVES

• Ability to lift 50+lbs comfortably

• Previous related industry experience

• Training in any of the areas listed above

• Warehouse based in Coquitlam, BC
